Local Fighter Update: Rodney Wallace Wins Vengeance FC Tournament

North Carolina based light heavyweight professional fighter Rodney Wallace (9-0)

Salisbury, North Carolina's Rodney "Sho Nuff The Master" Wallace remained undefeated over the weekend, winning a light heavyweight tournament at the Vengeance FC event in Aruba. He defeated Gregory Milliard by decision, Aaron Stark by submission and Antoine Britt by submission. Rodney is now 9-0 as a professional MMA fighter with one win coming by TKO and two wins coming by way of submission. He is also 4-1 in professional boxing and can regularly be seen competing in many of the state's competitive grapplinig tournaments.

Antoine Britt was on TUF right? I think he was being highly touted on that UWC promotion out of Washington D.C.

Also…Rodney Wallace has the dopest nickname ever….lol.

Yeah, Britt won his preliminary match on TUF season 7 but had to withdraw because of an injury (hand injury, I think). Rodney is a cool guy and is getting better all the time. If he can close the distance on you he’s dangerous.

He hasn’t mentioned any but I would be very surprised if he isn’t fighting on televised events within the next year.
