Gina Carano Wins Starring Role In A Movie
From MMAFanhouse:
The popular athlete who has been a Muay Thai fighter, MMA fighter, American Gladiator and magazine model is reportedly set to star in a spy thriller being helmed by Oscar-award winning director Steven Soderbergh.
The film's title seems apt: Knockout.
Man, what's the deal with all these MMA fighters scoring movie roles? I'm all for it, as long as the movie role doesn't interfere training camp for upcoming fights. *Coughs. Carano never seems comfortable when she's doing MMA interviews, so I wonder how she'll handle that when she's in front of the movie camera in a starring role?

I think Carano wants to do this. I kind if have a feeling MMA is not in her heart

This will be Soderbergh's hardest work yet:
trying to make Gina not sound so empty headed.
...some call me "el mexicutioner"...
