Anderson Silva Has Elbow Surgery, Out Until 2010
Promoted To Frontpage From Fanposts By Kelvin Hunt

In a report by MMA Live, via 5 Ounces of Pain, it is reported the Anderson Silva has had surgery on his elbow, and will be out until 2010.
What does this mean? Well, Dan Henderson probably won't get that immediate title shot, and it seems like Silva's wish to have Henderson and Marquardt fight eachother in a title eliminator all the more likely. What's curious about this report is that there is never any news about Silva having surgery, or injury, until after it's done. You'll probably remember some time ago he had surgery on his knees, which was about three months before the fight with Travis Luter. Of course, we didn't hear anything about it until after the fight.

This is probably for the best considering there’s no opponent for Silva at 205 not scheduled to fight already and personally I think Marquardt/Hollywood NEEDS to happen.
Bloody hell.
