Rafael dos Anjos Celebrates His UFC 103 Win

Rafael dos Anjos was finally able to get his first UFC win last weekend against TUF alum Rob Emerson. I've been a fan of dos Anjos since his fight with Jeremy Stephens and later against the always tough Tyson Griffin. Dos Anjos communicates that he has one more fight on his UFC contract and would like to fight one more time this year since he didn't get injured in the Emerson fight. He speaks with Tatame:
"I saw he was a striker and played with a leg open. I’ve noticed that on the videos and I saw that was like that on the fights too, and when I did the first kick he felt, he had thin legs... Gordo (Roberto, his coach) was on my corner and realized he felt too, then I started kicking all the time. The strategy, at first, was to take down and finish in the ground, but I couldn’t do it, I distracted on round two and lost a position, but it was ok", celebrates, hoping to be back on UFC this year.
"I didn’t hurt myself at all on the fight... I was thinking in one more little fight this year, in December. It would be good to fight again year. This is a very hard division, there’s a lot of people, this guy I fought came from nowhere, I didn’t know him", said, waiting for one more victory to sign a new contract with the event. "My contract is for four fights, I still have one to make and they didn’t tell anything about resigning, but that’s with my manager".
Dos Anjos is a handful for anyone in the UFC LW division. The guy is a competent striker, is very good on the ground, and is tough as they come. I'd like to see the UFC re-sign him and get him right back in there against another tough opponent.

If I remember correctly he was whipping Stephens (no one in the LW division can take on of them hadokens on the chin)
He looked dangerous against Tyson Griffin, who’s in the upper echelon of the LW division… The LW division needs more of these guys who aren’t wrestlers if there’s to be any entertainment value watching fights in the future.
Bloody hell.

He’s kind of alike to Paulo Thiago… they need to dig out more of these tough as nails guys from the Brazilian soil right now – the fight game needs them
Bloody hell.
