Adrenaline MMA IV Results: Houston Alexander Defeats Sherman Pendergarst Via TKO In Round 1

The first round starts and Alexander lands multiple leg kicks that seem to hurt Pendergarst and Alexander senses that Pendergarst can't put all of his weight on that leg. Alexender begins to apply pressure with knees up the middle and Pendergarst drops to the floor. Alexander finishes him off with punches to win via TKO in the first round.

Leg Kicks

Them were some nice leg kicks by Alexander. Had some good takedown defense too glad to see him back to the winning ways.

It’s good that he learned how to sprawl, but that dudes takedown came from a mile away and was pretty slow. I’m a big fan of Alexander, but I doubt he’s improved much, if at all.

This was the first event in a while where I picked every fight correctly. I don’t know if it was due to luck or the heavily lopsided matchups. I’m leaning toward the latter.
