Bob Arum: Behind the times

In an interview with AOL FanHouse, Top Rank's Bob Arum had some interesting words about MMA:
Arum said the sport looks like "guys rolling around like homosexuals on the ground" and called MMA fans "a bunch of skinhead white guys."
Clearly the 77-year old Arum has some issues. I cannot think of more offensive and politcally incorrect comments about MMA in a long, long time.

I’d hate us, too, if I were Bob Arum. He’s been at or near the top of boxing’s promotional hierarchy since the 60’s and Zuffa has not even had the UFC for a decade and has greatly surpassed the revenue that Arum’s organization generates. I’ll always like both sports. It trips me out when either side is bitter towards the other, though. Arum and his peers have the whole envy thing down pat. MMA must be doing something right.
