Report: BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez To Take Place At UFC 105 In The UK
The news comes courtesy of InsideFights and is rather surprising considering that it's been difficult to get the UFC champions to defend their titles on the foreign cards. The last fighter to do so was in fact, BJ Penn at UFC 80 against Joe Stevenson. Those cards typically do much lower numbers PPV wise than cards that take place in North America. However, with this card being possibly aired on Spike TV, the UFC may be able to compensate penn more so than if this were a PPV. We reported some rumored match ups earlier in regards to UFC 105 and this will be a dope FREE card on Spike TV if they all come to fruition. This is how the card is shaping up thus far:
- BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez(UFC Lightweight Title)
- Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang
- Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun Kim
- James Wilks vs. Matt Brown
- Demarques Johnson vs. Peter Sobotta
- Paul Kelly vs. Dennis Siver
- Andre Winner vs. Rolando Delgado

Im a big fan of both.
I think Diego has a better chance of winning than Kenny did, but I think BJ is going to take it.
...some call me "el mexicutioner"...
Awesome
This fight card is solid with a title fight and 2 very interesting match ups. Bisping vs. Kang should be a stand up battle. Hope Bispings chin has heeled or he’ll piss the home fans off. The Hardy vs. Kim fight will be very fun to watch also. Can’t wait!
