Strikeforce News: Showtime Sports Isn't Too Happy With Nick Diaz

Scott Coker and Showtime's VP of Sports Ken Hershman speaks on Nick Diaz missing his title fight with Jay Hieron, signing a boxing contract, and Diaz's future with Strikeforce and Showtime. It's clear they are at a wits end with Diaz and this seems like they are putting it out there as a last straw type of deal to let him know it's all or nothing. I mean who could blame them? Listen, I'm a huge Nick Diaz fan, but what he did was some bush league stuff that could come back to haunt him. I hope he gets his act together because dude brings it when he comes to fight.

Maybe he is doing this to get out of his Strikeforce contract to possibly sign with the UFC? Reaching, but wouldn’t be surprising if it turned out to be the case.

dunno…I’d love to see him back in the UFC. I guess he’d have to talk with Dana or Joe Silva on the low to tell them what he was doing to get out of his contract.
