The fight starts and they trade leg kicks. Mousasi lands a body kick and Babalu catches it. Mousasi with a take down into side control with Babalu pinned against the cage. Mousasi tees off on Babalu and Babalu is out after taking several punches. The referee stops the fight at 1:00 of Rd. 1. Gegard Mousasi is the new Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion.
