Report: Ryan Bader vs. Eric Schafer At UFC 104

Next fight...UFC 104 against Eric Shaufer (sic) in LA Oct 24th.
Ryan Bader is coming off a decision win against Carmelo Marrero at UFN 18. Eric Schafer is coming off a TKO win against Antonio Mendes at UFC 93. Schafer is a submission guy who has quietly won 4 straight(2 wins outside of the octagon). Bader who is a great wrestler is undefeated in his young career is coming off a knee injury that he suffered in the fight against Marrero. This matchup will be really similar to the TUF Finale fight that Bader had against submission specialist Vinny Magalhaes. Bader will probably look to use his wrestling to keep the fight standing, and avoid the excellent ground game of Schafer. The rumored card for UFC 104 looks like this:
- Lyoto Machida vs. Shogun Rua
- Ryan Bader vs. Eric Schafer
- Kyle Kingsberry vs. Razak Al-Hassan
