HDNet's Mark Cuban Speaks On Affliction Collapse
Via USA Today:
From the perspective of an MMA fan, it's obviously disappointing. It would have been a great card. But that's the way business works. I think the UFC was smart in their handling of Affliction. But there is plenty of room for new promotions. M1 Global does as a great job. Vadim is one of the smartest people in the world when it comes to promoting Fedor, M1 and MMA internationally. Dream, Sengoku, Strikeforce, MFC, XFC and other promotions do a great job as well.
Affliction had a great idea but tried to do too much too soon. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world. It will be just fine.
Wait...Vadim is a great promoter and these other promotions do well with international shows internationally?

Without Fedor, there is no M-1 brand, like there really is one anyway.

Haven’t you heard of the M-1 Challenge cards? They’ve been amazing and promoted mma internationally like never before!

I’ve heard of them, haven’t seen one, but I’d have to guess that they don’t pull in that much money.

LOL
I was being sarcastic. Just would like to say that so that no one thinks I’m a complete idiot.
