Fedor would have to add precognition to his list of talents, as this interview occurred before UFC 100 :)

i’m not a fan of his, but have always had a healthy respect for the dude.

I think it would be an interesting fight. Fedor is crazy skilled but Brock offers some insane matchup problems for him. I do hope it happens eventually. I don’t know who would win, but I do think that the days of a 6’, 225 pound dominant heavyweight are on their way out.

The Truth

So what’s up? Judging from all of your comments, is this a place to gather and hate on Fedor?

lol

you can do whichever you like…I’m a fan of the guy myself…however, I don’t worship the guy like some folk.

I don't worship any fighters

But I am a fan, and I don’t think that a lot of the criticisms of him are fair. It seems more like folks just hating on him because he doesn’t fight in UFC. He has fought some tough competition in his time, and his record speaks for itself. This guy has never really lost a fight – that’s a big deal! And in my opinion, unlike some fighters, his fights are pretty much always exciting. He doesn’t screw around, that’s for sure. He works for a finish. And for somebody who is so highly thought of, he’s very humble and soft-spoken. I like that. There are too many fighters out there who like to run their mouths. Just shut up and fight, that’s what I say.

I can side with that

Most people around here believe Brock’s size, strength & wrestling beats the skill and technique of Fedor. I didn’t drink that Kool-Ade.

by LeonDaLion on Jul 15, 2009 7:48 PM EDT up reply actions

dorking out on you for a moment....

interesting story…

originally it was named “Kool-Ade” but had to be renamed “Kool-Aid” because of a change in government regulations which required anything that ended in “ade” to contain actual fruit juice.

Oh, and I predict that Brock would eat Fedor in a fight, immediately drink a Coors Light then mount his wife in the center of the ring.

I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

Man

I dunno…Brock’s size/strength/wrestling isn’t ordinary…and Fedor isn’t the same Fedor that beat Nogueira and Cro Cop IMO.

Fedor would beat Lesner. Fedor knows it, Lesner knows it, and Dana White knows it. And Lesner hasn’t earned a shot at Fedor yet. Beating Heath Hearing, Frank Mir, and a Randy Couture that is a step away from useing a walker doesn’t earn you a fight against Fedor.

by Dr_Cox19 on Jul 16, 2009 1:29 PM EDT reply actions

Well

Nobody knows what will happen until the fight…that’s why we have the fights…however, I can’t agree with you saying Lesnar hasn’t earned the right to fight Fedor….just last year everybody and their momma was dying to see Fedor/Couture when that was totally a mismatch(I wrote at length about it)…Lesnar has a much better chance at beating Fedor now than Couture did back then…and I’ll just leave it at that.

Can I just say...

I am tired of people using Randy’s age as an excuse as to why Lesnar beat him. Before the fight everyone (and by everyone I mean Lesnar haters) were saying, “Randy has too much experience!” and after the fight they were crying, “Randy is old!” I am not implying that is exacty the case with you Dr_Cox, but damn… whenever someone’s favorite fighter loses (or when a fighter they hate wins) they have all these excuses and its just lame. I guess it’s just hooman nature…
