The Yvel/Rizzo fight should have been stopped earlier. That got real ugly

Lashley is what he is. People need to remember that he’s only a few fights into his career, and just because he came from a background similar to Lesnar doesn’t mean he’s going to follow it. I honestly think that any wrestler could have done that to Sapp, which is why I picked Lashley for a 1st round sub to strikes, so it doesn’t really prove a whole lot. Lashley had good top control, but that was against a guy with less ground game than Houston Alexander.
Yvel’s KTFO of Rizzo was pretty spectacular, although the ref let it go a strike or two too much. Yvel defending from the bottom and getting up looked great, and he was remarkably respectful (or maybe he just wanted to watch the aftermath) when he realized Rizzo was still out like a light.

^ I agree on Lashley. I’ll be anxious to see how he continues to progress. As with Carwin, time is of the essence at his age.
