Bobby Lashley is way too cocky, and I think people underestimate Bob Sapp. I understand that this example might not fit within the boundaries of an MMA discussion, but Bob Sapp had the power to put away guys like Ernesto Hoost with early onslaughts. I’m sure Lashley will win but he needs to tuck his chin on the way in.

People do underestimate Sapp but after watching quite a few of his fights today on Youtube, yeah, he can hurt you – if he hits you. He definitely doesn’t have a bad MMA record, numbers-wise, and he’s been involved in some legendary battles… came close to knocking out Nogueira in his prime.
That said I doubt Lashley will lose. All he really needs to do is avoid the initial onslaught. His cardio is far superior. I don’t really think Lashley’s too cocky – by comparison Brock came into the UFC far more cocky and disrespectful. Yeah, he’s wearing the belt, and he’s got that to back it up, but Lesnar’s one of the fighters I think of when I think disrespectful.

What i dont get...
