Brock Lesnar or Frank Mir?

This is a tough one. I’d love to say that Frank Mir’s experience edge will be enough to offset Brock’s brute strength, but I don’t really think the fight’s gonna go the way it did last time. Frank Mir’s striking has improved by leaps and bounds. Brock is not only powerful, though, he’s also deceptively quick. If he can land a quick bomb again, it might be over in seconds.

Then again, will the only loss on his record make him more careful against Mir, since he did get caught by him last time. A more gauged approach would actually benefit Mir, though.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to see Mir storm across the cage Lesnar style and pummel the crap outta Brock? haha… don’t see that happening but a fan can dream!

I dunno. I hate to say it but I think this one’s going to Lesnar via KO/TKO. sigh……

They need a super-heavyweight division for that beast.. throw him in with Lashley, Mark Hunt, Antonio Silva, Bob Sapp, Shaq, hahahaha

He is a big’un. And an explosive athlete to boot.

You finally signed up! Thanks and welcome to the community…it is a tough one as Mir’s striking did look much improved against Nogueira. Before that fight I would have said that Lesnar would steamroll Mir this time around…I don’t think he’ll steamroll him but I don’t think Mir will be able to catch him with a sub this go round.

I’m against a Super Heavyweight division though…because there’s not enough of the skilled big fellas…hell there aren’t many skilled normal HW’s…

Mir isn’t that small to be bullied around like Randy was. And although Randy’s wrestling is as good as it gets, you just can’t outwrestle a guy like Brock who is not only much bigger but a hugely accomplished wrestler himself.

Any opponent who relies on wrestling will lose to Brock. Mir on the other hand does not need to make this a wrestling match. If the fight remains standing, Mir has the advantage. Brock hits harder but Mir is a better striker. If the fight goes to the ground, Mir might get pounded on for a bit but theres always the possibility of Mir submitting him. Against Herring or Randy, Brock didn’t have to worry about his opponents submission game. This is different. This isn’t a great matchup for Brock. Neither is Big Nog.

Prediction – Mir by sub, round 2.
