Man, I can’t believe this….I quietly became a fan of Jason MacDonald…besides the wackass nickname…his matches were always entertaining. He was a good gatekeeper for the MW division. Oh well, I guess excitement only gets you but so far unless you are either KTFO people or getting KTFO…

I think this is a mistake. He is still an asset for the Canadian market, but what with this recent cutting spree I can’t say that I’m surprised.

“The UFC has been great to me, and they’ve been great to deal with, so there are no hard feelings at all,” MacDonald wrote. “I understand it’s just the nature of the sport. Especially nowadays, with so many fighters, it’s more important than ever to win fights.”

Wow, he’s almost too good a sport.

Well, I’m sure he knows that they could come calling again…especially if someone got injured or something…I bet he’d be on the short list to call. So no sense in burning that bridge. That’s a smart fighter right there.

It should have been expected, considering his spotty performances. I like MacDonald though, and I’d bet good money that after he wins a fight or two outside the organization he’ll be back.
