"Nobody spoke yet (about my next fight), but my goal is to win the next one. I’m already focused for the next fight. I’ll fight anyone, but a rematch (with Forrest Griffin) would be welcome. He’s a good fighter and it’d be a good fight. I’ll fight anyone, but it’d be cool to fight him again, I’d love it".

i would love to see that rematch, but forrest is fighting in july. considering him winning and not getting injured that would make the rematch 8 or 9 months away, which is too long. cane or jardine would fit the bill as would rich franklin if he wins. shogun IS NOT 1 win away from a title shot imo. at least 2.
I think it’s possible that Shogun is kind of burnt out with training though..I saw a video where he said he wanted to relax for a month or so…he training like 2 months for the Coleman fight….then another 2 month or so for the Liddell fight….with really no break I guess.
If he fought Forrest next and beat him convincingly though…you don’t think he would be in line for a title shot? Jardine doesn’t deserve one…Wandy is gone from LHW…Liddell is gone…Rampage is in line for the next one…Cane needs a 3 or 4 wins…am I missing someone?

rashad evans is saying that chuck was fronting on the whole “changed fighter” thing. he claims to have an inside source that said chuck trained the same way he always does and had no plans on changing his style. no big surprise there, but it does take away a little from rua’s victory. i thought chuck should have retired after the rashad fight, but still thought he could beat shogun after the coleman fight., i didn’t realize that chuck’s chin had deterorized so bad, i thought he was just getting caught with big punches.
LMAO, good stuff!
