Martin Kampmann Sums Up His Fight With Carlos Condit
Martin Kampmann speaks to UFC.com:
“He’s got a good submission game from his back, he’s got good Thai Boxing, he’s lanky, has dangerous knees, but he’s got some weaknesses too,” said Kampmann of Condit. “I think his wrestling has been weak in the last couple of fights, and he’s beatable – everybody’s beatable. It’s a tough fight for him, but it’s a tough fight for me too. We’re both tough and I think it’s gonna come down to who makes a mistake. Anything can happen, but I think it’s a great matchup and the fans are in for a treat.”
I agree.

i do too. iv’e been on kampan’s bandwagon for awhile now. the drew mcfedries fight is what got me on it. drew isn’t a world beater, but the way kampan came back after getting outstruck when he was supposed to be the superior striker and then changing levels and taking it to the ground was what really impressed me. not many fighters can do that, switch fightplans in the middle of the fight that quickly. i was very dissapointed in the marquardt fight, but martin just got overwhelmed by a much bigger and stronger fighter. i thought he looked like a pipsqueak when standing face to face with nate, so the move down to ww seemed natrual to me. no excuses come tommorow night though, iv’e got too much respect for condit. if he wins it’s because he is the better man. this could be a war.
