Report: Anthony Johnson vs. John Howard At TUF 9 Finale

MMAJunkie with the news:
Sources close to the negotiations told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) Anthony Johnson (7-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and John Howard (11-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) have agreed to the bout, which is expected to be finalized in the coming week or two.
Eh, I wanted to see Johnson vs. Swick, but now with Swick fighting Ben Saunders I suppose this will have to do. Hell, I just like watching Johnson fight so let me shut up! John Howard just pulled a mini-upset against the very tough Chris Wilson at UFC 94 winning via split decision. Howard has only been finished once in his career, and the majority of his wins have come via submission. So it looks like we'll get to see a little bit more of Johnson's ground game provided Howard can get it there.

Good match-up
I want to see where AJ’s ground game is at..

I think his top game is decent…he did pretty well against Burns in that postion. His GnP is adequate but not overwhelming from what I could tell. However, I don’t recall seeing him on his back during any of his fights(granted I haven’t seen all of them…even the Clementi fight) so that’s what I’m curious about. Can he get back to his feet if he wants to? I’m pretty sure he isn’t going to be subbing anyone from that position. He’s made it pretty clear that although he trains in BJJ it isn’t his most favorite discipline…

![From MMAJunkie.com:
Strikeforce heavyweight and former NFL great Herschel Walker (1-0 MMA, 1-0 SF) suffered a deep cut in training and has been forced to withdraw from next month's "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu" event.
Strikeforce officials today confirmed the change with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).
Featuring a light heavyweight matchup between Dan Henderson and Renato "Babalu" Sobral, "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu" takes place Dec. 4 and airs on Showtime.
"I feel terrible about this," Walker stated in today's official release. "I know things like this happen in all sports, but I had trained very hard and was excited to be returning to the cage again."
Walker had been expected to face one-time WEC veteran Scott Carson (4-1 MMA, 0-0 SF).
According to Strikeforce officials, a Daniel Cormier knee strike opened a "deep cut under [Walker's] left eye that required multiple stitches"...
Despite the setback, Walker said he hopes to return to action quickly.
"I hope to fight again as soon as the cut heals," Walker said.](http://cdn3.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/161814/herschel-walker-2_small.jpg)
