UFC 100 HAS ME THINKING WHO'S NEXT FOR THE HOF?
All this talk of the upcoming UFC 100 and the big Expo has got me thinking about history. The UFC Hall Of Fame to be precise. Who's next? It seems that Chuck Liddell and Matt Hughes are the 2 fighters who are closest to retiring that are locks. It also makes me wonder if the UFC will ever actually open a HOF facility and have ceremonies like baseball does in cooperstown and the nfl has in canton. I think it would be awesome if they did, but right now they just don't have enough members. Randy,Royce,Dan and Ken are the only current members. Add Chuck and Matt and that's still only 6. Fighters who are not in, but should be considered as pioneers to me are Tank, Bas, Maurice Smith, Don Frye and maybe Marcos Ruas. I also wonder if they will induct current stars such as Hendo, Wandi,Rampage and Big Nog who made their names in Pride .(Rampage could probably make it off his stint in the UFC alone before he's through). They are definetly worthy and both Dan and Wand started off in the UFC. All 4 should be in someday imo since the UFC took over Pride. Kind of like the WWE inductucting Ric Flair even though he made his name in the old NWA&WCW. (sorry for the wrasslin reference). Rich Franklin is someone who i see as a tweener. He has a little more work to do, but i think he'll get there someday. A.Silva, GSP and BJ all seem to be future locks. Now all they have to do is build the damn building. Build it and they will come. Someday .So who's next?

Good Stuff!
Mark Coleman is a UFC Hall of Famer as well….I’ve read that some people are lobbying to get “Mask” inducted…that would be cool. I don’t know if they are going to induct anyone…but UFC 100 would be a good event to do so….Matt and Chuck are locks to get in I’m sure…but I would prefer they wait until their MMA career is over before putting them in…

Thanks
damn! forgot about Coleman. Should add Tito in for consideration as well. I cant stand him, but his career merits it.

Yea, he probably deserves to be in there simply because he carried the UFC during the dark days(although his title defenses were against a lot of 185ers), but I don’t see Dana White ever allowing that to happen…lol

Bas and Tito. Like him or not, Tito was a big draw for the company.

While deserving, Tito won’t get in there just now…
Bloody hell.

Bas only had two UFC fights…so I doubt that will happen.

True about Bas, but his “Dangeda Dangeda Dang” video is Hall of Fame worthy!

Word, what about Don Frye? He was 9-1 in his UFC career…with the only loss coming against UFC HOF’er Mark Coleman.

If length of time on the roster counts...
..Art Jimmerson, represent!
If you see Mark Coleman in person, drop $5 on the floor and watch the fun as he tries in vain to bend down and pick it up.
