According to this report, the following fighters have been released from the UFC:

-Denis Kang

-Jason Dent

-Rolando Delgado

It's no surprise that any of these fighters were released as all of them has sub .500 UFC records.  I wonder if Strikeforce will make a run at signing Denis Kang, or will he go back to Japan and compete where he became well known in the PRIDE organization?

Tending to gas like he does I don’t think a weight cut would’ve benefitted him all that much.

And oh yeah, no surprise here.

Bloody hell.

ehhh . . . what did Kang do?

Shogun, a huge international MMA star lost his UFC debut, then beat Coleman in a sad performance only to KO former LHW Chuck Liddell.

Kang, another huge international MMA star lost his UFC debut. He decision Professor X who’s on a 3-fight losing streak and then gets owned by Michael Bisping.

Come to think of it . . . Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva both lost their UFC debut fights. Hmmmm . .. .

2nd time I’ve seen Houston being cut but no source. If so, he engineered his ouster. I think some one should have told him to watch UFC 9 Dan Severn vs. Ken Shamrock.

hated to see Kang go…but he just didn’t perform in those fights….well, he was beating Belcher minus the guillotine hail mary he pulled out of the hat. i was surprised to see Bisping actually take it to him in that fight when he finished it. damn.

Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.
