Heavyweight bout
Marcus Jones vs. Matt Mitrione
Round 1 - Jones bullies Mitrione into the fence and then trips him down. In side control against the cage. Mitrione working to control the arms and he turns it over and gets back up. Clinch against the fence. They break. Some wild shots from both. Mitrione hits what appeared to be an illegal knee but I might just be seeing things. Clinch against the cage. Mitrione with a knee to the leg. High knee by Mitrione. Jones not doing much against the cage and they break. Mitrione walks right into a guillotine in the center of the cage. There an arm in but Mitrione isn't fighting it. And he's out. Jones looking for a triangle but Mitrione rips out. They exchange and Jones with a double but Mitrione cage walks to his feet. They trade and Jones appears to be hurt but Mitrione gets too wild and gets taken down. Jones works for a Kimura to no avail as the horn sounds.
Matt Bishop scores the round 10-9 Jones
Forrest Lynn scores the round 10-9 Jones
Round 2 - Both men breathing hard as the round start. Mitrione clocks Jones with a right and he falls face first to the canvas. One more punch on the ground and referee Steve Mazzagatti makes the save.

Lightweight bout
Frankie Edgar vs. Matt Veach
Round 1 - Veach goes for a takedown but it's quickly stuffed. Nice right by Edgar. Edgar just gets out of the way of a left hook. Veach again with a single but Edgar defends nicely. Edgar tries a head kick but gets taken down. He gets up immediately only to get walked across the cage on Veach's shoulder and slammed. Edgar gets up but Veach is on him and slams him again. Edgar is smooth and gets up and they break. Edgar working the body. Lunging left hook connects for Veach. Good jab by Veach. Nice left connects for Edgar and stops Veach in his tracks. Veach lunges in with a hook and falls flat on his face as Edgar evades it. Edgar to the body. Veach lands to the forehead.
Matt Bishop scores the round 10-9 Veach
Forrest Lynn scores the round 10-10
Round 2 - Veach is all over Edgar. Edgar can't get inside to take him down. Veach working for a single. Can't get it and Edgar gets free. Nice right by Edgar. Veach is taking some deep breaths. Edgar hurts him with a right and takes his back. Veach rolls over and Edgar is pounding away. Veach holding on somehow to big shots. Edgar locks in the rear-naked choke and it's over.

Heavyweight bout
Kimbo Slice vs. Houston Alexander
Round 1 - Alexander is pacing back and forth ready to go. They circle to start. Houston on the outside, Kimbo in the center. Kimbo starts to stalk, Houston with a kick to push him away. One minute in and no punches thrown. Crowd getting restless. Still no action 90 seconds in except for an Alexander leg kick. Leg kick for Alexander. Another. Kimbo finally throws a punch but hits nothing. Alexander hasn't thrown a punch in half the round, just working leg kicks. Now they engage and trade and it's wild. They break from a clinch. Two minutes to go. Kimbo chant. Alexander lands two shots. Inside leg kick for Alexander. Kimbo looking to time the leg kicks. Round ends.
Matt Bishop scores the round 10-9 Alexander
Forrest Lynn scores the round 10-9 Alexander
Round 2 - More circling by Alexander. First strike comes 55 seconds in, a leg kick by Alexander. Kimbo misses a wild hook. Carbon copy of the first round so far. Kimbo sends Alexander flying with a jab and Kimbo with a takedown into mount. Elbow for Kimbo and Alexander gets out. Alexander slips on a kick and Kimbo gets some good shots in. Huge body shot for Kimbo. They clinch against the cage. Kimbo with a huge suplex. Back up. Alexander goes for a takedown but ends up mounted. Kimbo with some shots. Alexander gives up his back. Kimbo is too high on his back, though. Kimbo looking for the rear-naked choke. Kimbo mounts. 30 seconds left. Alexander gives up his back again and turtles. Alexander slips out the back door. Uppercut for Kimbo.
Matt Bishop scores the round 10-8 Slice
Forrest Lynn scores the round 10-8 Slice
Round 3 - Leg kick for Alexander. Alexander lands. Now they are trading wildly. Jab for Kimbo. Alexander tiring. Kimbo waves Alexander in. Kimbo with a right and Alexander responds. Left for Alexander and Kimbo gives him a nod. Alexander drops Kimbo with a leg kick. Kimbo very slow to respond. Alexander goes in but Kimbo gets up and gets the sloppiest single in the history of MMA. Half-guard for Kimbo. Not much happening with 1:45 to go. Both guys are spent. Kimbo with shots to the body and referee Josh Rosenthal stands them up. Alexander with a leg kick. 40 seconds to go, both men fading big time. Alexander with the leg kicks. Alexander with a big elbow and a right that send Kimbo across the cage. The horn goes and both men immediately put their hands on their knees.

Forrest Lynn scores the round 10-10 (29-28 Slice)
Official decision: Kimbo Slice d. Houston Alexander (Unanimous decision - 29-28x2, 30-27)
Light-heavyweight bout
Matt Hamill vs. Jon Jones
Round 1 - Double jab for Hamill. Jones misses a spinning back kick. Nice body kick for Jones. Hamill misses a spinning back fist. Hamill catches a kick and goes for a single but cannot get it. Nice jab by Hamill. Jones skims a head kick. Hamill's side is red. Trip by Jones into side control and full mount. He is going crazy with strikes here. Hamill covering up. Not a lot getting through. Jones is nonstop, absolutely relentless. Hamill is getting busted us. Jones slowing down now but still putting it on him. Jones hits a downward elbow and is docked one point but Hamill doesn't get up. Referee Steve Mazzagatti asks him if he can go and stops it. Hamill is really busted up.
Official decision: Matt Hamill d. Jon Jones (Disqualification - Illegal elbow) R1
Heavyweight Final
Roy Nelson vs. Brendan Schaub
Round 1 - They touch to start. Nelson goes for a single but is shrugged off. Schaub lands some big shots but Nelson survives and takes him down. Half-guard for Nelson. Working for a Kimura. Into side control now. Schaub can't get out from under the belly. But Schaub just pushes him off and is back up. Schaub swinging for the fences, connecting on some. Nelson ducks in with a right. Nelson is getting countered each time he throws. Jab for Schaub. Big right lands square for Nelson. Left hook for Schaub. Nelson knocks out Schaub cold with a right to the side of the head. Waded in with the left and brought the right.
Official decision: Roy Nelson d. Brendan Schaub (KO - Punch) R1 3:45

If Kimbo gets on a PPV card, it would be the first UFC event I’d be boycotting. Far better fighters have been cut for no reason whatsoever. Kimbo doesn’t deserve a big payday any more than the hundreds of other starving fighters.

yeah, the shots that made him quit were perfectly legal. The ones that were illegal should have resulted in a point deduction and the fight should have been ruled a win for Jones via Submission (strikes)
