Guess what boys and girls.... Thiago alves vs john fitch for the 27th!!!!!!
This fight was originally supposed to go down at UFC 106, but Alves had to pull out of the fight due to injury. Jon Fitch went on to defeat Mike Pierce by decision who took the fight on short notice. This fight will feature two fighters that are considered top 5 welterweights in the world and UFC 111 is shaping up to be a dandy in Newark, New Jersey. It's about time the east coast started getting some more love. The rumored card is below:
-GSP vs. Dan Hardy
-Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves
-Ricardo Almeida vs. TBA
-Shane Carwin vs. Frank Mir(Interim HW Title)
