"I'll be quite candid and frank: I don't know if I have a job come Monday when I get back," Buck told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "I said, 'I've got to go,' and they said, 'Well, we don't know what's going to happen when you come back.' I said, 'Well, that's fine,' and I left on Wednesday morning."

That sucks, what profession is he in? I believe the best way to ensure he would have a job is to do exactly what he has done. create bad publicity for the company if they were to fire him.
It does bring up an interesting point however between the balance of fighting and ones “real life”. Seems something like this could/should have been avoided and worked out well in advance.
The company I am with does not mind me fighting actually likes that I fight shows character and drive. The only thing they tell me is I have to be able to see out of at least 1 eye for them to pay me :-) . I am a Computer Programmer so I think that is a fair deal. But seriously some publicity for the company would typically be enough for them to not care if you miss a few days.
Yea
I’ll be rooting for him….takes courage to take a risk like that and go for your dreams….
