Vancouver Passes MMA Regulation For 2 Year Trial Period

Vancouver Sun MMA reporter Chris Parry has crunched the numbers and seen documentation prepared by city staff on the topic of mixed martial arts regulation, and says the evidence is clear: Vancouver City Council will overwhelmingly approve a resumption of oversight of the sport today, and the UFC will be in GM Place by June 2010.
The Vancouver City Council voted to sanction MMA for a 2 year trial period. Now all you Canadians can "Wild Out" like The LOX(for you rap heads) if the UFC decides to go through with a June show.

Once the money rolls in from the UFC coming to town, they are going to kick themselves for not doing it sooner.

I think the strategy should be to have every single significant state and providence sanction MMA until New York is basically forced to do it out of sheer embarassment.
