As stated, some of the fighters can be cleared by a doctory beforehand without having to serve the entire suspension. So some may be back in training and scheduled to fight again pretty soon barring any major setbacks. It looks like Matt Wiman, Paul Buentello, and Clay Guida have the potential to be out of action the longest. Amazingly, Diego Sanchez is only out for 60 days even though it looked as if he took the absolute worst beating on the entire card that was aired.

Hey, why did Kongo only get 3 days for getting knocked on his ass and strangled unconcious?
Bloody hell.
because they already know he won’t be getting any fights any time soon

All commissions are different
Remember, this was the first time that the UFC had gone to Tennessee…and I’ve never seen the 3 day precautionary stuff before…I’m asssuming Kongo only got 3 days because he didn’t get knocked unconscious with the punch….the choke…while he went unconscious is thought to be harmless for the most part.

Forget Kongo
At least Kongo took a shot and passed out, why is MIR suspended? He didn’t do anything he doesn’t do in practice, and it looked like his hand was OK after that shot.
