Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones On March 21st In Colorado (Updated)

UFC light heavyweight fighter Brandon "The Truth" Vera

just found out I'm firing Jon Bones Jones on March 21st in Denver Colorado. hope u heard it here first!!!!

We reported late last night that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira had to pull out of his UFC 109 match up with Brandon Vera. I was pretty vocal when that fight was announced that I wasn't a fan of it because I felt it was a step backwards for Nogueira after destroying Luis Cane at UFC 106. However, this fight between Jon Jones and Brandon Vera is a great match up to see where Jon Jones stands in the division. Vera's stand up skills coupled with his size and wrestling ability makes this fight all the more intriguing. Who you got in this one?

The event and its venue have not been officially announced by the promotion yet, though Sherdog.com has learned the event will air live on Versus.

it's a southern thing

Here in the south…we fry fish…and the grease has to be REALLY hot before you can put the fish in to begin cooking…hence the phrase….“hot like fish grease”……which is another term for “off the chain”…or just another way of saying something is ‘really good’…

Here in NC..we get fish coming off the gulfstream….Red Snapper…Spanish and King Mackeral…Wahoo…Tuna…smh head….I practically grew up at the beach…lol…

he will be facing a piseed of jon jones and jones will beat him bad. there is no doubt in my mind

Very excited about this fight

I met Master Lloyd last night at an in-house tournie at my BJJ school and we rapped about this fight. We talked about the reach advantage Jones will have and how he is a freak of nature with those long ass arms. lol

I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!
