Why aren't you making picks in the secondary league?

Unbeknownst to most folks (judging by the number of picks), there's more to the MMA Playground than just UFC events, and we want YOU to participate!!

I know you were wondering "gosh, why doesn't MMA Playground do picks for Strikeforce and WEC?"  Well good news: THEY DO!  On the top of the page just to the left of the "Site Info" and "Log Out" tabs, there's one labeled "Secondary League".  Hit that, and the normally blue tone of the site flips over to a notably purple-ish hue, indicating you're now in the secondary league!  Everything else works the same, except there is a different set of fights to pick and bet on.  Of course, these points are kept separate from your primary league points, but because there are fewer people participating overall you're sure to do much better than you are today!

What's the catch?  Well, since it's the secondary league, you're looking at fight cards that are a little off the beaten path.  Sure, Strikeforce and WEC are pretty mainstream, but do you feel up to picking on Dream and Sengoku?  They've even done Strikeforce Challengers and Cage Rage, so make sure you're paying attention to all of those international cards!

Oh, did I mention the fabulous prizes?  NO?  Good, because as far as I know there aren't any!  Except of course being able to brag about how well you're doing.  Did I mention that I've got over FOUR TIMES the points Matt does?  Around 4.6 times, actually!  You can see the team standings when you open up MMA Playground to your My Fight Camp, and you'll see it under the "Event Stats (L2)", "Points (L2)" and "Earnings (L2)" tabs. 

If you're not already part of the MMA For Real fight camp..  SIGN UP!  Get yourself a user ID (preferably one that's the same as your MMA For Real ID), hit up Kelvin (you know, the man in charge), and he'll send you an invite.  Help MMA For Real become the premier team on the Playground, as we climb our way to the top fight by fight!  A little birdie told me that we spanked our alleged rivals Bloody Elbow, and even though I don't think we bother comparing secondary leagues, we're always looking for more people for the primary league, whose new season starts with the new year at UFC 108!
