Carlos Condit Hospitalized Due To Infection

Per his Facebook page:

Carlos Condit is in the hospital until further notice. Got a bad infection that required emergency surgery so I'm down for the count for a while.

We posted earlier this week that Condit had to pull out of his scheduled bout with Paul Daley at UFC 108 due to a cut he sustained on his hand.  Condit stated that the cut was pretty deep, and now it looks as if the cut has been infected and required surgery.  This just continues the recent woes of UFC fighters getting injured and/or catching an infection that keeps them out of the cage.  Dustin Hazelett has stepped in to replace Condit againt Paul Daley at UFC 108.
