Not surprising

Although I’d love to know why I keep getting press releases days and/or hours after the news is broken on other sites.

While Strikeforce continues to sign up just about everyone they can possibly get their hands on, the UFC keeps getting struck by injuries. Not good. Not good.

If I were the UFC…I wouldn’t be worried

Yeah, even though Strikeforce is signing dudes and UFC’s talent is seemingly dropping like flies, I don’t think any of the Zuffa brass are worried in the least about Lashley signing with anyone, let alone Strikeforce.

competition is good

As a capitalist, I dont like monopoly’s, and like my choices in products. I have never been a huge fan of Strikeforce, but I admire their aggressiveness to try and take market share.

I dont know if they can ever reach the level of the UFC, but I would love to see them find some kind of “alternative” position in the minds of the public. It would be good for the fighters, and good for the UFC, who could not become lazy with their success.

The only way they would reach the level of success as the UFC is to build the SF brand….they are not promoting their brand right now….but I agree…competition is good…
