I have a lot of respect for Brett though.

Nah. Fedors always been a bleeder and takes a lot of punishment. Brock would do damage but would either end up getting subbed or knocked out.
by cauliflower_ears on Nov 7, 2009 11:16 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I just think Brock’s wrestling and the cage factor would allow him to maul Fedor.

Rogers put up a great fight and probably landed cleaner, better shots than any of Fedor’s recent opponents when he had those shots on the ground.

Brock’s wrestling, size, speed and freakish strength would overwhelm Fedor.

no doubt. fedor has no idea what to do when his is against the cage
lesnar would win easily if he did not get caught by a wild punch which could happen but i see that as unlikely as lesnar would use wrestling skills vs fedor to push him to cage and keep him there and it would be worse than lesnar / mir 2. broken bones and blood everywhere and lesnar just smiling. the emperor has cracks in his game in the cage. peace.

Somewhat odd fight. No question that Emelianenko is far more skilled (everyone knew that going in). He definitely struggled against Rogers, though. At one point after he had Fedor leaking, Brett was in his guard. If he had some ground and pound skills and more stamina it might have been a wrap. Either way, props to Fedor for fighting through adversity and getting the stoppage win in the 2nd.

But he still won. I’m more impressed with him facing and overcoming adversity than anything else. And Rogers also gained a lot of fans tonight.
by Rahson on Nov 8, 2009 12:52 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
fedor e. won that fight but he does not know what to do when he is against the cage
no doubt in my mind lesnar would take him down and push him against the cage or throw him into cage keep him there and punish him, ground and pound him till every part of his face was bloody. lesnar would win easily.
by wolfmanshowlforever on Nov 8, 2009 2:23 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
yeah (whatever)
I’ve always thought Fedor was a joke. I’ve always thought someone like Lesnar, with only a few victories who has never fought anyone like Fedor would just destroy him. If there is one thing we can say about Fedor, he takes his opponents lightly and never learns from his previous fights. Lesnar by whatever he wants….
by aman on Nov 8, 2009 5:40 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
some funny stuff here...
“Fedor takes his opponents lightly”
“Lesnar by whatever he wants”
Thanks for the morning laughs.
If Brock wants to fight Fedor and prove something, he knows where to find him.
All in all, great show and was nice to see all facets of the MMA game on display with the Strikeforce show last night. And it was free too (legally). :)

"I don't want to fight for too long," he said. "(At) 30, I'm finished. In my mind, (I just want) the amount of money that [would give me] a good life. Anymore than that, I don't need.
