It's pretty straight-forward...
For a fight that’s going to happen early (ie Werdum vs. Sylva) call in earlier, and for a fight that’s going to happen a little later (ie Fedor vs. Rogers) call in later. We’ll also be going over Sengoku and Friday’s Challenger’s event, so your best bet is going to be to just listen via that fancy-pants player you see above (it’ll update once the show is live) so you aren’t calling about someone like Mousasi when we’re talking about random Japanese dudes on Sengoku.

so do i. if strikeforce does not get the viewership they expect from the cbs
broadcast on staturday they could fold. i truly expect lesnar to fight fedor in early 2010. thanx for letting me speak and i did not know the va hospital in reno had that big of an echo. sorry.

It wasn’t an echo on the hospital, because you were fine.. it was like when a dude calls into a radio station and it echoes back.
Seriously though, this Fedor thing is retarded. He’s EXCLUSIVE to Strikeforce. It’s a legally binding contract, not something he can just go wander over to another organization for fun.

strikeforce own web page says they are expecting a certain amount
of viewerhip from a nationwide audience. if it dissapoints don’t you think there is a small possibility that they could fold as a company? possible? then what happens. last time that happen the ufc got a few fighters under contract. correct.?

The reason that EliteXC went under wasn’t because of poor viewership, it was because they paid way too many people way too much money (internally, not fighters) and were in the red for years. They were going to be kept alive by CBS and Showtime, but after Kimbo getting KO’d and Seth mentioning he was paid to stand, they didn’t want anything to do with EliteXC, and therefore EliteXC went bankrupt and was sold off piecemeal.
Strikeforce is NOT going under. Strikeforce has (as far as we know) good financials, smart people running it, and no absurd overhead that EliteXC did. Even if this show does poorly, it doesn’t matter because not unlike Fedor’s contract with Strikeforce, they have a contract with Showtime/CBS.

If the show does poorly…it does matter…it’s not the death of Strikeforce per se…but it damn sure ain’t a positive.
