love what this guy is saying. this is exactly how a potential contender should talk. i think if he beats kos, he’s next after hardy, and desrevedly so. that’s a match-up that can wet peoples appetite in the ww division.

I understand that Koscheck is considered a top guy, a top contender but I don’t see how Rumble beating Koscheck warrants a title shot.

Oct 2008 – Koscheck loses in a valiant effort against Thiago Alves.
Dec 2008 – Koscheck gets his first KO-punch victory against a the so-so Yoshida
Dec 2009 – Johnson avenges the error made by ref Steve Mazzagatti -beat Burns via KO
Feb 2009 – Koscheck gets upset by Paulo Thiago
Feb 2009 – Johnson KO’s Fioravanti
July 2009 – Paulo Thiago gets schooled by Jon Fitch
Sept 2009 – Koscheck pummels veteran Frank Trigg
Oct 2009 – Johnson misses weight but KO’s Yoshiyuki Yoshida
Johnson recent resume doesn’t look really impressive enough for a title shot but this is the UFC, guys get injured, great KO’s make guys look great, and the show must go on.

Haven’t they said that Hardy is getting his shot a title? And if so the winner of this fight will most likely get another fight “for a shot at the title”. You know how these things go.

when a.j knocks out kos in under 4 minute bc kos said he is not worried(which mean he is very worried)
kinda like the smile on the face when you get tagged and you try telling yourself that did not hurt. i think matt wiman did that to spencer fisher and fisher landed one of the most crushing knee strikes to the jaw that i have ever seen. kos is in big trouble. bank on it!
yes i am obsessive, obnoxious, in your face and all about covering the spread. those are my good qualities.
