King Mo to fight Mike Whitehead at Strikeforce: Evolution

A source close to Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal confirmed that he will be fighting Mike Whitehead at the upcoming Strikeforce: Evolution event.
It was confirmed to me this evening that King Mo (5-0) will be fighting IFL veteran Mike Whitehead (24-6, 1-0 in Strikeforce). Although this fight has been speculated upon for some time, it has just been arranged, with Lawal's original opponent for the event falling through. The bout will take place at December 19th's Strikeforce event, also featuring the likes of Cung Le, Scott Smith and Robbie Lawler. It's also worth noting that the fight has been contracted at heavyweight, despite both Lawal and Whitehead both regularly fighting at light-heavyweight.
