This will be the first of two open threads for the UFC 105 event. This thread will serve as the open thread and discussion for the LIVE UFC 105 PPV broadcast that will air beginning at 3pm EST. So come on in and discuss the fights as usual if you can't wait until the show airs via tape delay on Spike tv at 8pm EST. For those of you that do not plan on watching this broadcast of UFC 105, we'll have another open thread and discussion for the Spike tv broadcast at 8pm EST. So don't click on this thread and read the comments because there WILL BE SPOILERS after the jump. I thought Vera clearly won the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I don’t get it.

What happens to Vera now. Although I thought he won the fight, if he fights like this, there is no way he can compete with the top guys at 205.
