M-1 Says Fedor and Brock can fight for free

Yeah. That's what I said.

Star-divide

At any rate, they say that Fedor and Brock can fight for free in a ring or a cage in Russia just to see who's better. *yawn* the Hyperbole of this is absurd, it's like suggesting that Cotto and Pacquiao this weekend, or Mayweather and the winner of this weekend's bout should go 12 rounds at a local gym just to find out who's **** is bigger.

Looks like M-1's attempting to trump Dana in the trash-talking/promoter neighborhood. M-1 can say what it wants about Fedor owning part of the company, and how Fedor is his own man, but M-1 makes those decisions. M-1 needs someone to co-promote with them....remember when they ducked their tail and opted out of promoting in Vegas the moment they received the paperwork which requires investor background/financial information? What a joke. Say what you will about the UFC, but M-1 is shaaaaaaady to say the least. We could have seen a very different first round if that had been Brock on top of Lesnar landing some punches, considering Brock's clearly dominating top control....I also wonder about Fedor armbarring a super heavyweight like Brock. Rogers sloughed off that armbar attempt....and unless he were to get to Brock's back or it was late in the fight, I don't see Fedor getting a submission....maybe a choke, but doubtful an early armbar/kimura....Randleman and Coleman are heavy, Brock is Huge. dunno, food for thought. overall, the show bested my admittedly meager expectations. Soku gave me hope to watch him fight again by showing Mousasi's hype water is a bit strong, Werdum will get KTFO'd by Fedor....and Fedor will submit Alistair just like Werdum did. Rogers hung in there longer than a lot of other men, so I give him credit where credit is due, and I think he will improve and come back. he just got caught, it's not like he got dominated in the fight in my opinion.

Good stuff

I’m so sick of M-1…I wish they would evaporate or something….Strikeforce better make sure they are crossing their I’s and dotting those T’s.

don't underestimate the russian's

they would have home field advantage but the fight has to take place in a cage. how much do you want to bet that vladmir putin would be there. he was there when fedor fought matt lindland in st. petersberg. i saw it for myself on bodog sports. i still think brock would win if it happened. they can have home field advantage but we get the cage.

Where the fight happened wouldn’t make a difference….because it wouldn’t goto the judges.

defintitely, but i can be intimidating to fight in a foriegn country especially russia

i was not talking the judges this time. brock with tko b/c yuo know fedor won’t tap but he will suffer broken bones.

Aw, dude. He’d eat that up. That cat feeds off of the boos as much as anyone I’ve seen. It’s kind of fun to watch.

I too

enjoyed getting boo’ed from my opponents team while playing baseball…I remember I used to tell myself…“man they hate to see you coming up to hit”…lolol.

remember who much he got jacked up with that win vs mir the second time

do you not think some mental games on the part of fedor’s handler’s and fedor himself just might give lesnar some doubt. mind games could be tricky in this fight. he might get frustrated to if he did not get the positon he wanted quickly. i guarantee fedor would would want this fight to go a long time. it would be a good strategy on his part. hopefully we will see it. maybe someone in vegas like steve wynn could throw an obscene amount of money to both fighters and fedor’ s management team to get this thing to happen. if anybody could pull this off in vegas steve wynn could. mr hunt i still have not seen a poll here or on bloody elbow that you could title “who would win the mythical mma world heavyweight championship of the world.” i don’t know how to make polls but i know you do. peace.

hmmm

1. i dont think mind games would work on lesnar. the dude is tunnel visioned for victory and doesnt give 2 shits for opponents thoughts except to use them as a fuel for a raging fire. (see mir/herring)

2. i doubt fedor wants a supa heavy leaning on him for more than is necessary especially with brocks cardio, so i cant see him prolonging the fight (cant see him deciding this either to be honest. i see him being mauled via GnP at lesnars will)
