DREAM 11 Preview: Joachim Hansen
I know quite a few of you guys are fans of Hansen. It'll be interesting to see how he looks against Aoki after taking well over a year off from competition. I promise if he beats Aoki, he'll be back in my top ten list :).

His accent is just adorable
But his hands are deadly… pisses me off that this dude will never compete in the UFC, because the UFC LW division needs him.
Bloody hell.
Yea
I’d like to see him in the UFC as well…but his PRIDE got hurt…no pun….when the UFC made an offer that he didn’t think was good enough apparently…

true
PRIDE doubled (something like that)his contract, right before they went under, just so the ufc couldn’t get him. Pride never paid him the money they contracted him to, but he expected the ufc to and refused to fight for less, even though he was an unproven commidity to the ufc. now he says he would rather have his bowels removed, than fight in the ufc or in america period. (fuck him imo) the ufc’s lw division is loaded, they sure in hell’s don’t need him. i think he is too small to compete in the ufc’s 155 lb division. he looks like he should fight at 145. one would think joachim, aoki and alvarez, who’s with bellator know, but is scheuled to fight with dream again, would get tired of fighting each other over and over again. there’s those 3, maybe 2 if alvarez is stuck in bellator while the ufc has bj, diego, grey, sherk, kenny, edgar, tyson, nate, guida, stevenson and too many others too name. aoki has been running his mouth about the uf’c’s lw division. i would love to see him and hansen grow a pair and actually fight in the major leagues before they get too old. if so i don’t see either of them getting past the upper echelon of the ufc’s lw division or coming close to sniffing a title shot. :-)

You clearly have no concept of reality
Hansen, Aoki and Alvarez all fight in Japan, where the competition is a thousand times tougher than the US, therefore they are automatically favored over the second rate fighters the UFC has under contract. It doesn’t matter that they lose every second fight or they struggle to beat cans in Bellator, the simple fact that they don’t lower themselves to fight losers like BJ Penn, Kenny Florian or Sean Sherk guarantees them a top 5 ranking in any fair top 10 list. Nothing proves your ability more than not fighting skilled competition.

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...
wasn’t aware the lowball offer was the reason he doesn’t intend to fight for the ufc. for all the downing some of us do in regards to the UFC, things are ridiculous when you look overseas: Filho had to cut like 20 lbs b/c he wasn’t even made aware of the weight he was fighting at against a dangerous guy like Melvin, all the painkillers and steriods pride was fully aware of back in the day….the list is endless. last minute match-ups…..etc.
Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei.
