The TUF 10 Open Thread And Discussion: Episode 7

Be sure to join us tonight at 10pm EST for the TUF 10 open thread and discussion. It's been a long season thus far, and all of the fights have been pretty lackluster save the Brendan Schaub/Demico Rogers fight. It'll be interesting to see who gets picked to fight on tonights show. I hope North Carolina's own Marcus "The Darkness" Jones finally gets a chance to shine tonight. Also, apparently Rampage and Rashad go at it something serious and the fight tonight apparently is great. See yall in a bit.

I know I’ll probably get a lot of disagreement on this, and I don’t even know if it really means anything or not, but I wanted to post one observation:
Most times this season that Quinton and Rashad have jawed at each other, I’ve noticed something. Quinton’s FIRST reaction is to square up evenly to Rashad, walk toward him and make and sustain eye contact. Watching Rashad’s body languagein the same situation, he appears to usually keep look away repeatedly and begin pacing, often away from Quinton’s reach. Again, not saying this means anything at all and it certainly doesn’t speak to either guy’s ability or skill. For all I know Rashad might be able to easily win against Quinton. Just stating what I’ve repeatedly seen. I honestly do believe Quinton would have won that fight. Maybe we’ll never know. I have a feeling we will eventually, though.
Oh
Rampage is afraid of no man….anytime you can lose VIOLENTLY to someone twice like he did to Wanderlei Silva…then come back and KTFO that dude….after what had just happened to him with the monsta truck shit and getting his belt taken by the judges against Forrest? forgetaboutit….
I think Rashad would have tried to stand with Rampage and got KTFO..

Yeah this ranks among the worst fights this season lol
Rashad older brother vs. Schaub is still the best IMO. That was real skills and real action.
Bloody hell.

Wow. This movie quote sums up my feelings after having watched this display:
“Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

!["I remember one other thing he [Rashad] was doing - he was punching me in my knee! It was weird because I had suffered a real bad knee injury in camp but we kept it secret, we didn’t say anything about it and we didn’t even tell the UFC."
"I told my doctor and that was it, he helped me out but I was going to back out of the fight. The only reason I didn’t back out was the fight had been so hyped and I didn’t want to disappoint the fans. Why was he punching me in the knee though? That’s kind of weird - did he find out about the injury? I don’t know. Its weird."
