Make sure you join us tonight for the UFC 104 open thread and discussion as we always do for the major events. Of course the only rule is that you not post ANY SPOILERS in the comments section or anywhere on the site as some of the preliminary card may make the live broadcast. The PPV broadcast begins at 10pm EST, but a couple of the preliminary fights will air on Spike TV beginning at 9pm EST. Also, if you are in the area be sure to join me over at Buffalo Wild Wings in Garner, North Carolina to watch UFC 104. I'll be there around 7pm EST. It should be a great night of fights.

Great job by Shogun! Can’t say enough about his effort and gameplan tonight. Machida didn’t do badly and is clearly still going to be considered as an elite light heavy, but Shogun earned the # 1 ranking tonight. My picks sucked but I was entertained and got to see some quality fights. Great event!
