Ultimate Fight Night 20 Shaping Up With New Bouts

Ultimate Fight Night 20 is approaching, well in January, but already the card is shaping up. The only puzzling addition is Josh Koscheck against Mike Pierce, while it should be a good bout, doesn't it seem like a downgrade for Kos, especially coming off a beatdown of Trigg. Not sure the logic in that one, but should still be a great one on free TV. What do you guys think?

A middleweight bout between Jay Silva (5-1) and Chris Leben (18-7) is set to take place at "Ultimate Fight Night 20". MMA Recap (mmarecap.com) has confirmed the report with Silva. UFN 20 is set to take place on January 11 and will air live on SpikeTV.

Silva is coming off a loss to CB Dollaway at "Ultimate Fight Night: Diaz vs Guillard". While Silva lost the fight, it was Dollaway who was worse for wear. After nearly submitting Silva, Dollaway was gassed and Silva took shot after shot after shot on Dollaway dropping him three times through out the fight. Silva likes to go out there and knock your head off, and Leben is a perfect candidate for Silva.

Leben is on a two-fight losing streak after losing to Michael Bisping and most recently Jake Rosholt. Rumors have stated that Leben did not train for the Rosholt fight after a nine-month suspension. Leben is 8-5 inside the UFC and always loves to look for the knockout.

UFN 20 now looks like:
•    Jay Silva vs Chris Leben
•    Josh Koscheck vs Mike Pierce
•    Aaron Simpson vs Tom Lawlor
•    Efrain Escudero vs Nik Lentz

Would Leben be a huge loss to the UFC if they cut him though if he loses to Silva? I don’t see him doing much at Strikeforce or Dream right now either so I don’t think it’s that big of a loss.

Nah, not a huge loss

He could do ‘ok’ in Strikeforce and DREAM depending on the match ups.

it's in fairfax virginia. would the ufc fight night happen to be on the george mason campus

i think it’s called the patriot center. the only thing i want to see about chris lebon is the horrible grim reaper tattoo on his entire back. at least i think that is what it is.
