Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt set for UFC 106

The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner Kendall Grove will be taking on Jake Rosholt at UFC 106 inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The preliminary bout was confirmed today on UFC.com, as well as eight other bouts.

This fight makes sense IMO and it will be interesting to see if Jake's sub defense is up for the task at hand - I think Rosholt will probably grind out a decision Almeida-style, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got caught in a submission either... then again the Arm triangel Jake pulled off against Leben might indicate better submission skills overall (including defense) but that is speculation at this point. Who do you got in this one?

i’d like to see kendall pull of a slick sub. that armbar he had on almeida would have tapped just about anyone else i think. Almeida said afterwards, “I just waited and let my arm loosen up a bit when it popped a few times”…..most guys would have tapped. straight up.
