Lorenzo Fertitta, Rampage Jackson, And BJ Penn
I'll be kind of busy at work today so I don't know how much I'll be able to post. However, I have three seperate pieces that should hold your attention. The Atlantic has done pieces on the Lorenzo, Rampage, and BJ Penn and it gives you a glimpse inside the world of MMA. The reads are very long and detailed, but I encourage you to take the time to read them.
I'll be checking the site when I get a chance, so be sure to leave your comments or thoughts about the pieces.

I’ll start it off…all of the pieces so far have been incredible IMO. You got to see a side of Rampage, Dana White, Lorenzo, etc that you normally don’t get to see. Like when Dana was asked about ‘was it ok for Rampage to fight Wandy next after what he had just gone thru’…and Dana almost has a ruthless perception! Also, the calm demeanor of Lorenzo kinda of came thru in the interview for me. The guy just seems to have IT as in the business sense. It was also cool to hear from him on how TUF got started. I’m reading the BJ Penn one now.

!["I remember one other thing he [Rashad] was doing - he was punching me in my knee! It was weird because I had suffered a real bad knee injury in camp but we kept it secret, we didn’t say anything about it and we didn’t even tell the UFC."
"I told my doctor and that was it, he helped me out but I was going to back out of the fight. The only reason I didn’t back out was the fight had been so hyped and I didn’t want to disappoint the fans. Why was he punching me in the knee though? That’s kind of weird - did he find out about the injury? I don’t know. Its weird."
