Karo Parisyan vs. Dong Hyun Kim Rumored For UFC 94
That's word according to MMAWeekly's rumor section. UFC 94 is expected to be headlined by the main event of Georges St. Pierre vs. BJ Penn 2. Karo Parisyan was scheduled to fight Yoshiyuki Yoshida at UFC 88 in Atlanta before having to pull out of the match up the day before the fight with an injury. Dong Hyun Kim last fought at UFC 88 winning a split decision victory over TUF 7 alum Matt Brown. In my opinion, Kim won the fight unanimously with a score of 29-28 across the board. Kim is undefeated in his career and burst on the scene at UFC 84 stopping Jason Tan via TKO in the 3rd round.
In Karo's last appearance in the octagon, he suffered the first KO loss of his career at the hands of the Brazilian sensation Thiago Alves. Karo was once a top ten welterweight, but injuries and lack of motivation seem to have hindered his ascent up the welterweight ladder. If he wants to keep pace with the division this fight is a must win for him. Kim is a very tough opponent and this should be a great fight provided Karo is fully healed from his injury and in shape.

Dope fight if both guys are in top shape….Kim has definitely gotta come better than he did at 88 and Karo MUST do better than he did against Alves….interesting matchup

Yea, Kim seemed like he gassed a bit at UFC 88.

agreed. would love to see the old karo back. ive never been a big fan of his, but do acknowledge that he has’nt been the same for awhile. maybee that nagging hamstring injury that rogan mentioned is a big reason to his lackluster performances. and the donger is definetly legit, but still alittle green imo.
