Jardine is also trying his best to hype of his fight against Brandon Vera that will take place later this month at UFC 89. I'm glad he thinks his fights are exciting(they usually are) because his personality is about as exciting as country music. Jardine is in real danger of losing two in a row, that is if Vera cuts weight properly and doesn't have the same performance as his last fight. It was interesting to hear Jardine say that he'd win 9 outta 10 against Silva. Although he said it respectfully, I think he's really stretching it here. What do you think his statements and who do you have winning the Jardine/Vera fights?

Jardine just doesn’t do well with aggressive fighters, his style is more scrappy mixed with technique but if he can’t get any shots off, he’s doomed…Vera will offer a tough match up, because he’ll come out after Jardine

Good thing you posted this. Saw this the other day and I found it pretty amusing to be honest.
Like I said elsewhere, somehow, whenever he gets knocked out, its a case of “just got caught”. Houston almost took his head off and Wanderlei demolished him. What a bad loser.
And as for that 9 times of out 10 comment…the funny thing is that he actually believes it.
He needs to accept the fact that he got KTFO and move on and learn to lose gracefully. Whatever though, I don’t like him and his goatee anyway.

Oh and I think Vera will beat him this time. He;ll be better prepared. Theres a lot riding on this fight for Brandon.

I like to watch Jardine fight…but I hope Vera pulls it out…he’s so much more marketable.
